Battle of the Books

Our Battle of the Books Team offers students an exciting opportunity to develop a love of reading while working together in a fun, competitive environment. Participants read selected Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) books and prepare to showcase their knowledge.

Students compete against other elementary schools in a trivia-style competition, answering questions based on the books they’ve read. This program encourages teamwork, comprehension, and critical thinking, all while making reading an enjoyable and engaging experience.
