About Reedy Creek Elementary School

Reedy Creek Elementary has long been known for its innovative spirit, first reflected in its unique earth-sheltered design inspired by the energy-conscious architecture of the late 1970s. Since opening in the fall of 1981, the school has served generations of students in a distinctive learning environment rooted in creativity and resilience. As we honor that proud history, we are also excited to look ahead to a bold new chapter: the transition to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility for the 2026–2027 school year. Designed to support modern teaching and learning, our new campus will provide enhanced resources, flexible learning spaces, and advanced technology to meet the needs of every student. While our building is changing, our commitment to academic excellence, community connection, and student success remains stronger than ever.

Reedy Creek Elementary is committed to providing a well-rounded, engaging educational experience that supports the growth of every student. Our instructional program integrates technology thoughtfully, with teachers utilizing class sets of iPads and laptops to enhance learning and collaboration across all grade levels. Students in kindergarten through second grade participate in a dedicated media block to build foundational research and literacy skills, while students in grades three through five engage in STEM classes that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation. In addition, all students benefit from weekly enrichment in art, music, and physical education, ensuring a balanced curriculum that nurtures creativity, wellness, and academic excellence.
